About Mercy Hair
Founded by Mercedes Highgate, a Dallas-based hairstylist, Mercy Hair was born out of a problem she saw every day behind the chair. Clients were investing in installs, showing up with bundles that looked good at first, but didn’t hold up where it mattered.
The result? Styles falling flat. Texture not lasting. The “big, soft” luxury look never fully coming to life. And Mercedes knew it wasn’t her work. It was the hair.
So she made a decision: if her clients were going to sit in her chair, they deserved better. Better quality. Better longevity. Better results.
